I repeated that it's Rs. 50 but he started arguing and shouting and started saying that 'you are looting people, you take 3 times the cost of actual work' I humbly requested him to pay me my wage and if he doesn't want to, it's okay I won't take a single penny but please don't make a scene. He threw a Rs. 10 note at my face and went away angrily.
Whenever something like this happens, it saddens me. These people can buy shoes worth Rs. 5 thousand from any market but won't pay Rs. 50 to a cobbler. It hurts their self-respect if people like me ask for their rightful labor. I wish people would think unselfishly for once."
